 Mall Rules

Limited to 25 spaces, register early

If you have a question or are in need of assistance, you must contact a show organizer. If we are not on site, our phone number is (727) 869-9884.  DO NOT ask any mall employee or management for help.  This will be enforced ! If you consider  yourself one of the show organizers and you ignore this rule, you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

Currently, we accept Arts, Crafts, Gifts and retail into the mall event. Fleas or junk are not acceptable. Jewelry is limited, if you have not registered as a jewelry vendor, it will be pulled from your display if you try to sell it.

New Applicants: You will need to submit 3 pictures of your product and 2 of your display. These will be returned to you at the event. If you want them returned with your confirmation, please submit a postage paid, self addressed envelope.

Fill out the application in entirety.  We will accept the applications as stated. You must supply the information for the crafters medium (what you are selling). Limited to 2 mediums which must compliment each other. Do not phone or email and tell us to remember something for you.  If it's not on the application when submitted, you probably won't receive your request.

If your display is more than 4 feet high, we need to know this on your application so that you will be located appropriately. It is best to evaluate your height as you will not receive the best of locations if you are over extended.

No Tents !      Sorry, but we no longer allow tents in any form or type, no matter how new.

Email:    We will not open attachments under any conditions. Also, there is not enough available time to look at your website, please do not ask.

Exclusives:     We do not issue exclusives on any product; a review may be made to insure a limitation on certain items of sales dependent upon location and registrants.

Deposits:    If you do not have the funds, a 25% deposit is required to hold your space.  We offer a discount if pre-paid, in full, before the deadline.  If you owe a balance - after the date- , you will not receive this.  Don't ask us to save you the best location, if you haven't paid.

Balances:     All will be paid before set up. We do not accept business nor personal checks after the deadline. Money order or cash only. Discounts are available only if you are paid in full, before the deadline.

Sales Tax:     Each participant is responsible for collecting and submitting sales tax to the Florida Department of             Revenue.

Confirmation &  Map to the Site:     Upon acceptance of your product & application, we will send you a confirmation and a local map to the facility.  It is your responsibility to access an atlas or www.mapquest.com to find out where the city is. Confirmations after the deadline date will be sent through email.  Do not expect a map to the location.

Set Up:    is the night prior to the opening with a meeting in the food court at 8:00 pm. Your location is given at this time. If you are late for this informational visit, you may loose your initial spot on the layout.  Once you are issued your site, do not ask to be located elsewhere. Do not decide to re-locate yourself. Everything is workable, if you are not satisfied, and if there are any sites left,  we can execute another location AFTER the others have been given their information and are issued/shown their locations.

Table Covers: are to be matching sizes, colors and completely touching the floor on ALL 4 sides. Do not bring stained, torn or dirty covers.  Displays will be evaluated and if they are not professional:
1) We will try to "fix them", if not,     2) You will be asked to return the next day with the appropriate covering.     3) You will not be allowed to sell if your covers are not acceptable. 4) If you find it impossible to make a decent display and you have to leave, you will NOT be reimbursed.

Display:    Your display is to be in the best form that you can offer.  We are in a mall and only professional displays will be accepted.  No hand written information or signs. The show participant is responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, table covers and displays.   If you are not selling IT, then hide it under your table.   No visible storage boxes or clutter are to be seen by the public. Cover your merchandise each night as there are early morning mall walkers.  Take home anything of value with you.  We will not be held responsible for any losses, nor will the mall.  We will continuously inspect your location, if you are untidy you will be asked to clean up your area.  All boxes and containers must be hidden under your table, not behind it.

Electric:     is on a limited basis, it is not guaranteed.  First registered will receive electric. You must be paid in full before the deadline to even consider being accepted for this commodity.  Bring extension cords, duct tape to cover any cord which the public can trip on.

Food:    Do not place food or drinks on your display.   A separate "behind the scenes"  table will suffice.

Arrive on Time !:     You must be open and ready to sell, 1/2 hour before the mall opens.   If you are late, we will open your display and it will not be protected.

Dress appropriately:     we do not allow shorts, mini skirts, sloppy dressing or unprofessional attire.  You're all grown up now and we should not have to tell you how to dress.

Break downs:     only on the Sunday at the mall closing hour.  You may dismantle your display and pack your merchandise at the delegated  hour of closing.   No sooner ! unless designated by the management.   Why would you do this to your fellow crafters, when they still want to sell.  Be considerate of the show and them.  Remember: you may have to work with them in another event.  Specifics will apply to the Dec. 13 - 24 (long-term) participants, only.

Show Dates/Locations:     are subject to be changed, be relocated or cancelled.  Only registered applicants will be notified.  All prepaid participants will receive a credit voucher for monies applied. Any and all cancellations will be published on the front page of this website.

Evicting the Show:     If the management decides that you need to be evicted or you decide to evict the show without concession to the contract signed, you will no longer be welcomed to return. Any monies applied to future events will not be refunded and all credits will be automatically cancelled.

Alcohol or Pets:     Pets are only allowed if they are the direct subject of a display;  or are a legal seeing eye or hearing impaired pet.  We will need to have a copy of the pet's license and shot records prior to the event, include this with your application.  Alcohol is not allowed.  If you drink and are inebriated and disruptive, the sheriff's office will evict you from the premise.  Profane language is not acceptable.

Nuisance and Non-Compliance:     Will not be accepted gracefully.

General Rules and Release:     When you sign your application, you are committing to follow all guidelines and standards supplied by the application inclusive of this document.  We are not responsible for injuries, claims, damages, loss of sales, etc., as stated on the signed general release.  These are legal and binding contracts and appropriate procedures to implement them will be followed.  There are no refunds, now or in the future for participant cancellation.

Leave your small children at home.  You can not attend to your children and maintain your booth in a professional manner, even if your spouse is with you. Children are time consuming and you must be able to focus on your sales.  Young children, strollers, etc. are not allowed in or behind your booth.  Best bet, find a sitter who does not need to walk the mall for unlimited hours.

The "No's" for All Events

No fluorescent "garage size" light bulbs.  No air conditioners.  No heaters.  One electrical fan, per site.  No generators. No unprofessional looking displays.  No junk or flea market items. No checks 2 weeks or less prior to the event, money order only. Faxed applications are not accepted, follow the correct procedure.
