This contest is open to the public. Limited to (2) entries per registered name. No fees incurred to registrant.

All registration forms must be hand printed with the name, complete mailing address and telephone number of entrant on an official form located at the Registration booth on the grounds or on a 3 x 5 participants own card. Business cards will not be accepted.

Each participant will be required to sign a release for photos of self or submitted category for possible future public publication with no monetary rewards. All photos become the property of said management and reimbursement will not be awarded to registrant.

Entries submitted may be handmade or designed out of subjects own materials or a commercially purchased basket, hat, or choice of pattern or project using the theme of a “Dressed Picnic Basket”. Each must be personally hand painted, sewn and/or decorated by the registrant. Commercial, imported or pre-decorated, purchased baskets or subjects same as, will be disqualified. This is a juried event.

Registration begins at 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm, Saturday, January 24. Winners will be announced at approximately, 3:00 pm.

First place winner will receive a $50 cash prize, a winner’s certificate and one unfinished wicker basket; Second and third place winners will receive each one unfinished wicker basket. A signed release for photos for public publication which may be used in further events, will be required.

Two or more, independent judges will make the decisions based on creativity, design, imagination, colors and efforts per submission. All decisions by the judges will be final.

Should winners not be available, they will be notified by telephone immediately following the announcement; all prizes must be retrieved no later than 5:00 pm, on site, January 25, 2009. Any and all unclaimed prizes will become the property of the sponsor and will be donated to the City of Oldsmar's Senior Center.
