Snack & Food Vendors Rules and General Release Required Signature to be submitted with Application |
By signing the following, you will commit to all rules and regulations for the Crafts and Artisans.
1) All terms listed on the original application and "Rules for Events" apply. A) If you leave your trash behind or break down early without permission, you will loose your $50 clean up
2) ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL, PETS OR SMOKING on or near your selling area. You will be told to leave with no refund. IF Electric is not available, you must be self contained. No noisy generators.
3) Registration booth will be open as designated on your confirmation. You must be ready to sell by the show hours. No breakdown allowed until closure of the event, if you do, you will loose the $50 clean up/breakdown deposit.
4) All displays/selling devices are the responsibility of the food vendor. No untidy sites in or around the rental area. All boxes/disposals must remain unseen. Tongues must be covered. Tents have mandatory weights of 25 lbs. per leg. You must bring two (2) disposable boxes that are to be set up for customers near your area. Do not leave these behind when departing. You may NOT use the event's trash containers. Definitely hair nets or hats are required. All plastic wear is to be wrapped in plastic cellophane or a napkin.
Signs: Not Hand made; they must be computer generated or of professional quality.
5) No refunds, now and forever. Only pre-registered vendors will be notified of any re-locations or cancelled events. No exclusives for any product.
6) Vehicles must be removed from the selling area no later than 1/2 hr. prior to opening. NO MOVING vehicles allowed during show hours. Use the designated parking for vendors and over night. Safety is mandatory.
7) Mandated: a minimum of 1 ABC fire extinguisher with a rating of 2A10BC displaying a current certification tag; the distinguisher must be in an accessible location. All Food Vendors with a fixed in place fire suppressions system (ANSUL) shall in addition to the ABC extinguisher shall provide a Class K. All electrical cords (if applicable) shall be grounded and rated for the use. No frayed, taped or spliced cords shall be used. Participant must supply their own electrical cords & tapes. All awnings, tents and other coverings over cooking equipment must be fire resistant. All LPG tanks shall be secured with chains or other restricting devices and shall not block access.
8) All signed commitments/agreements with this agency applies.
9) Health Maintenance: separate hand washing facilities; clean counters, tops/facilities, etc., are mandated as required by the State of Florida Dept. of Agriculture. You need to submit along with your application, current copies of your, Florida Dept. of Agriculture Food Vendors License and the mobile food vending license issued by the State of Florida.
Any signs of rodent or bug infestation on or during the event will automatically cause you to be removed from the event site.
10) If you did not provide the necessary footage for your food area and sales, then you will be issued no more than what you have registered for. This is YOUR responsibility to notify us on the application; telephone/email messages for more area will not be accepted.
11) Submit: an application; this page signed; a Copy of your $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance; documents as listed above, a Deposit to hold or payment in full; additional $50 clean up fee, separate check and menu.
12) The vendor, as named, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Crafts and Artisans Society, any and all sponsors, organizations, staff, volunteers and those related to this event, from all claims, injuries, damages, or actions caused or suffered by the vendor arising out of the activity or participation of vendor in connection with this event and any future participation. Absolutely NO Refunds and No Exclusives. Vendor also agrees to save and hold harmless the Crafts and Artisans Society, et. all as stated above, this location/management, volunteers and all sponsors for any and all damages of or loss to personal property inclusive of all rental areas for display/sales and effects of the vendor stored or used during this event. Vendor also agrees to follow criteria for display, location and further information mandated by management. Failure to do so, vendor will be required to evict premises with no refund.
